Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the large tattoo on the back of David Beckham's neck makes him look a complete ball and bat?

Plain Talker 09-09-2004, 18:13 (sigh...) no, magneteer....... he didn't need the tatoo for that... ;) Mr pt and I have always thought he had far more money than sense, all along... PT As always PT...you and Mr PT are right...but there again if Beckham had three bob (15p) he would still have more money than sense. I just wish I was that daft and had as much money...lol Plain Talker 09-09-2004, 18:37 TY, owdlad... :thumbs-up: My late mother had words of wisdom for situations such as this. I used to complain as a child, that the people presenting programmes like "Play School" were barmy, or daft, or stupid. (insert adjective of your chouce here!) my mother replied, sagely... "Look, *I'd* act as daft as that, if I were on their money!" PT saxon51 09-09-2004, 18:47 Careful, careful you lot. Last time David 'Ya know' Beckham was the subject of a thread on here the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to complete Arseholes) had a go. By the way, the tattoo on the back of his neck says 'BACK' in picture language. He's got another one on his chest which says 'FRONT'. It's so that Posh knows which way up he is at massage time. JoeP 09-09-2004, 18:50 The tattoo on his neck makes me think of two things - the Sontarans from Doctor Who who's weak spot was the back of their neck (so they conveniently had armour with a hole on the back of the neck to facilitate people poking things in there) and Marcellus Wallace in 'Pulp Fiction' - the plaster on the back of his neck where his soul was supposed to have been extracted. Just my weird mind...:) Joe Angel05 09-09-2004, 18:59 Why something so big on the back of his neck.... its not attractive! I ussed to be very keen of Beckhams tattoos.... Specially 'BROOKLYN' on his back and the writing on his inner forearm... (that got slightly messed up... but looks ok all the same...) But i will say this he does seem to be going over the top now with them... I agree that he had to add Romeo to Brooklyn and will also add their new additions name when he/she arrives... Slow down Becks! ;) lol ps i had an email with the one that is on his upper back spelling out 'T W * T' was quite funny shame i deleted it lol brooksy 09-09-2004, 19:30 you folk on here should be carefull with your comments on mr beckham. as an individual hes entitled 2 do what he wants and as ive been told by people on this forum many times theres a word 4 these sort off comments. problem is you get called this word for making a comment which they consider politicly incorrect ? saxon51 09-09-2004, 19:43 I think the word you're looking for is 'observant' brooksy 09-09-2004, 19:46 is that how you spell it now ," sorry". JoeP 09-09-2004, 19:46 Brooksy, I've passed comment on all sorts of people and things. It's also possible I'm one of the least politically correct people you'll ever come across. Mr B has indeed a perfect right to adorn his body with body art - it's just that he does have a big following amongst young lads and I'm pretty sure that most parents of kids wouldn't like little Johnny to be adorned in tattoos. Joe brooksy 09-09-2004, 20:02 my point wasnt aimed at you joe. the point im making is that i posted on a subject about noise polution on attercliff. i stated that the noise from certain mosques was quite loud and if i lived there i dont think id be 2 happy. im not a racist but it was a point i wanted 2 make , is it any worse than ridiculing an individual be it david beckham or whoever. it seems people try 2 use this a lot on this forum when it suits but soon quick 2 turn things full circle Magneteer 10-09-2004, 11:17 My point was not to suggest that Beckham should not be allowed to have his tattoos but, I've got a feeling wer'e going to see many impressionable kids who copy every move made by their heroes walking around bearing similar markings. It's all well and good copying a hairstyle or clothing but , with a tattoo your'e marked for life. How will they feel in say 20-30 years time with something like that stamped on the back of their heads? Dug 10-09-2004, 11:22 I think I read somewhere that Beckham originally wanted the tattoo on his head (presumably on the back of his skull). The tattooist had to persuade him to have it on his neck instead. D2J 10-09-2004, 11:30 Is this thread about Beckham and his tattoo's or about tattoo's in general.. ?? or both for that matter  alchresearch 10-09-2004, 11:51 Originally posted by JoePritchard Mr B has indeed a perfect right to adorn his body with body art - it's just that he does have a big following amongst young lads and I'm pretty sure that most parents of kids wouldn't like little Johnny to be adorned in tattoos. Joe I'd prefer that than doing a Wayne Rooney and having sex with grannies in brothels! Mr_E 10-09-2004, 13:29 It seems to me that the Mr and Mrs B are actually rather dull ! I mean that they are boring personalities. I'm sure they're nice enough, and harmless enough... just inexplicably dull. He kicks a ball around and she just kicks around. Now, in my opinion this is very dull indeed. And when you're as dreary as that, and you have a shed load of cash you do things that seem less dull. Like get a tattoo, or stick a lug through your tongue. This is not to say that all people with tattoos or piercing are boring. Just that these are things that boring people sometimes do. And, in the case of the B Family, they have. No doubt young BB will have an image of Sydney Harbour Bridge on his chest and little RB will have Barbara Cartland's Face on the left buttock - just to relieve the boredom. |
