Did anyone go see the Lord Mayors Parade today? and did anyone see the Dutch Market on the Fargate.

I had a look at that market and it seemed very over priced.

I didn't know it was the Lord Mayor's Parade today! Is it me or is there not much of a hype about it as there was a few years ago. I remember my dad taking me every year and we used to sit and watch everything go by.

My mum did go to town today to that market on Fargate, she thought it was great!! The cheese she bought though... eeewww!! Tomato and basil!! It's disgusting!

The market was there yesterday, too. I had a crepe for lunch, which was nice. My colleage had Garlic Prawns, and made the office stink :o

Shame they didn't publicise it a bit more - the first we knew of it was when the stalls set up outside our premises in the morning.

Didn't go, don't like all this foreign muck they were selling. Lord Mayors Parade is old hat. Yawn!!!
