Buy a house....

"buy a house with me, or I'll go and find someone else who will". So I did. And she found another bloke and left me anyway.

Charming, eh?

Very Charming.... So what happened to the house?

That must have been love (at the time of course)

Love is blind...

Realising when its too late that the person you have been living with for the past 6.5yrs has paid single fingured thousands to your doubled figured thousands... on a Mortgage...

Although i put more in then he did... when the property was sold i only came out 1k better off than him... Only cause i spoke to him nicely about it... Even went to see what i could do... The answer was 'No'...

I dunno must have been blinded by 'Love'....

Yeah sure i feel like a mug! (big~time) but hey i have learnt my lesson... learnt the hard way i know... but for sure it wont happen again... No man will take me for a 'Mug' for a second time

Love can do strange things to the human mind... beware! :nono:

Deejay - It's probably also quicker to recover from getting hit by a bus!

Agree with you (yeah - also been there, done that - a bit like you by the sounds of it but luckily managed to keep the house..)

I was so in 'lurve' at the time I'm now living in Sheff miles from my family but don't regret a thing. I'm not gonna get taken for a mug like you've said but I'm also not gonna turn into an 'bitter cynic' (not suggesting you are Angel05 BTW)....I just don't want those untainted by 'lurve' thinking its all bad!

Well my place is about to be sold. Anyone after an unhappy home in Nether Edge? It certainly looks nice...

It's the stupidest thing I've ever done, but then when you're in love you do stupid stuff. Never told anyone about that till after she left me, and no-one could quite believe what an idiot I was. Ah well. Worse things happen at sea, I suppose.

Dont get me wrong... Love isnt all bad i dont regret anything other than that situation of course... but i have moved on and still moving & looking forwards... within the past month i have moved to Sheffield leaving my past well a truly behind me... Whatever my future brings me i will be more than happy to take it on... well to a certain degree lol

Love can be a wonderful thing... its just unfortunate that sometimes it can go very wrong...

Theres nothing like being 'loved up' as i have told my patient! lmao

I once made a picnic in the hope that the young lady I had a crush on would join me to eat it.

It consisted of one banana, four marmite sandwhiches, two packets of beef and onion of crisps, two fingers of fudge and a sherbert dib dab.

I chickened out of asking her so I ended up eating my picnic on the bus home.

Unfortunate E because a finger of fudge is just enough to give your girl a treat! Along with marmite and beef and the banana freud might have suggested that you had sinister things on your mind. It prob best that you didn't meet her. Can't think what!!!!!!!

Alas, I was nine at the time, fifteen years before I lost my innocence to the more sinister uses for a packet of beef and onion Walkers.

Writing how much I luffed said lass in a diary...

... which wasn't too bad until the school bus bully nicked my bag and proceeded to read out all my notations of "lurve"...

Oh the shame... needless to say we never dated but hey I was 11... and well, ya know :P
