Im bored so I thought I would ask a wierd question.

What is the best ride you have been on?

For me it has to be "Hollywood Tower" In America, specially with the story behind it all.

Also the "Back To The Future" ride at Universals Studio

I dont 'do' rides ... scared of heights :(

Actually if anyone went to see McFly turn the Christmas lights on in town, then I went on the Hallam FM ride, it was literally a kind of wall which you went up and round on, very basic but so stupid it had me in stitches :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

Probably the best ride ever for me was the thunder looper at Alton Towers - but it's been gone a long time now :( . Others i like:

Nemesis (obviously)
Oblivion (also pretty obvious)
Log Flume at American Adventure (used to be highest log flume in europe - i think..!)

I'm sure there are plenty others but i haven't been to any theme parks other than Alton Towers for years!

Big Shot on top of Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas was pretty scary and now there is a better one up there too, look at this.

Terminator at Universal Studios, Florida was pretty good.

I also liked the Hanna Barbara thing there where you felt like you were part of the cartoon featuring The Flintstones, Dick Dastardly, Mutley etc.

the 'kit kat' roller coaster at fantasy island, ingoldmells. i was dragged on it this year and it scared the hell out of me. two minutes later as i was getting off the ride and was instantly wanting to go on it again.

The rides on top of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas :shocked:

ive only really been to alton towers,and i thought the best ride was oblivion, though i must admit i was quite scared on 'black hole'....cant remember its name, the one where you go round and round in darkness! :o

That was more than enough for me.

Wouldn't say Pepsi Max is the best ride but definitley the scariest.. as in scared for your life because it's so high, your not strapped in properly and when the wind gets up on Blackpool front Jesus Christ! My life certainly flashed before my eyes.

All the rides at Alton Towers are mint, apart from the Swans.

Passenger ride strapped into a 500bhp 1100Kg car on slicks on a track day. Far superior to any roller coster I've been on. Also passengered in a open no windscreen caterham on a wet day = about 10x the water from an Alton towers log flume ride.

Edit: An what had me laughing out loud was a passenger ride in a £1000 drift banger going sideways round every corner on 2nd hand tyres, so it doesnt have to be in an expensive car.

The scariest ride I've ever been on is absolutely the Mouse at Blackpool. I've been on the massive coasters in America which are scary, but didn't fill my heart with terror like the Mouse did. I really did think I was going to be thrown from the enclosure, also it really hurt! I was sat at the back with a mate between my legs, as soon as you went round a bend at speed (which is exactly what the ride was about) she got flung into my legs crushing them into the side. I could barely walk after the ride had done!

I think it was shut down last year after someone died on it, it just wasn't safe.

Well now, Ive had many a good " ride " in my time. :D
