I dont think you can be pre-emptive about this.

1. There is no such thing as a 'prefect partner' only someone who is perfect for you at a given time in your life.

2. It would be boring if someone were so formulaic to your desires. To let yourself float with the tide and be amazed by someone unexpected is far more intriguing.

3. Chances are, the person we end up falling in love is very far removed from the emotional frankenstien in our head. Thus, our definition of the 'perfect' partner is morphic, embryonic, yet strangely ephemeral.

I don't know what my perfect partner might be or if such a thing exists, there are so many different people out there and each in their own way might be a type of perfection - I think it's a case of trying things out to see if they work.
