In an ideal world but the chavs need to be put some where! I think its better they are there than in a quality night club like the leadmill or gatecrasher

Rumours around it closing on new years have been going around eve since i worked there, and that is 2/3 years past now, to be honest, it may not be a contentder for nightclub of the year but it still fills a need in the market. I have heard rumour of the planned changes to the kingdom by Brook Leisure and i have to say they are all to be commended for thier inventiveness and ingenuity if it comes off as i think it would once again become a real big draw in the city centre. My brother has a contact at Kingdom and he has seen the plans he reckons it will be awsome totally unique for Sheffield.

Kingdom and awesome in the same sentence....... I think not. It will still be a Ritzy playing **** music just like it always has been. At least it keeps 'em out the good clubs :)

Well...im going to have a look at the plans on Friday with my Brother so i will be able to see for myself.

Kingdom as you all know it will be closed as of end of NYE 2006, the current venue for kingdom will be no more.

As for kingdom moving to the old roxy's, someones been feedin u crap.

i think its not as bad as people think and if they make the effort with it then it will do pretty well. I dont think it does too badly every weekend now but i remember a time when you couldnt move on dancefloor cos it was so packed prob about 4 or 5 years ago.

I think someone's been feeding you c*** too... Kingdom is only shutting for a refurb, not to change venue, and is apparently re-opening in May 2007 under a new name.

Back in the day when kingdom was a good club to go to it did i believe, but the only award it would be put up for now is worst night club in sheffield.

Leadmill is way better than kingdom,

Kingdom is not as friendly as Leadmill neither does it have the better clients.
