I'm looking for information on Hannah Hawkswell, (The old lady who lived alone in the Dales, and was brought into 'civilisation' by a TV company who made a documentary about her.)

I've searched the BBC, but I can't remember who made the programmes.

Can anyone remember?

I normally suggest Google but that produced only 7 hits - though a couple looked like they were people who'd had contacts with HH so they may be worth following up.

Alternatively, contact the local libraries in the area in which she lived - they'll probably feature her in their local history / author collections.

Are you sure it was a BBC programme?

I seem to think it was made by Yorkshire Television.

It's Hannah Hauxwell. If you Google on that, you'll get all the info you want (1,940 pages worth).
