View Full Version : What's on your Christmas list this year? Or do you even have one?
Topic.
Do you have a wish list of pressies that you want for Christmas this year?
Personally there's a few games and gaming hardware I want including:
Xbox Live Vision Camera (Xbox 360)
Sonic The Hedgehog (Xbox 360)
Viva Pinata special edition (Xbox 360)
Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (Nintendo DS)
Yoshi's Island (Nintendo DS)
USB Wi-Fi adaptor (Nintendo DS)
All in all, about £180 worth of stuff on GAME's web site, and lots of nice shiny points for my reward card :D
Cheaper than last year for the old man, last year I got a Premium Xbox 360 and 2 games for just over £400, not that I'm fussed about expensiveness, it's the games I'm interested in, for the gameplay, not how much they cost (although I do think UK and Europe as a whole gets shafted on prices).
honeybee 02-12-2006, 21:03 I don't have one this year. There is nothing I really need and therefore nothing I really want. Although a ring would be nice ;)
lizzmobile 02-12-2006, 21:08 Not had time to put one together. Can't think of what to get the children. OH doing my head in so no inspiration.
Starvinmarv 02-12-2006, 21:12 I want an xbox 360 with a few games and an xbox live subscription so i can play some people online!!
You know what...things are getting too stressful - so many people echoing "I want I want I want" so much pointless buying and frantic stuff happening...One year I am going to put my foot down and insist that our family forgets all this frivolity of expensive gifts and do the "fiver" challenge...(except for the littlest members)...the meaning and point of christmas is lost - even if people are not massively religious, one of the lovely things is spending it with family and the issues of presents sometimes takes over...
Oh - and edit - I am not being a mardy scrooge here (in actual fact I am drinking a nice glass of banrock station watching take that having a lovely time) - but this christmas lark is becoming just an excuse to spend three hours queuing up at Argos!!!
Well, I don't listen to their wants. I buy them what I want them to have ! :hihi:
It's easier that way round.
Jabberwocky 02-12-2006, 21:23 I dont have a list because theres nothing I want or need so my other halfs family have a hell of a job choosing things for me. I already have a few MP3 players but my other halfs dad got me another one because im fond of them. As for the rest of her family, theyre going to surprise me. I would like the Gilbert and Sullivan Pirates of Penzance dvd and Ive been hinting heavily for that but if I dont get it I`ll just nip into town and get it.

BORING?!?!?!?
They...
They...
Im speechless! Theyre awesome!
BrainThrust 02-12-2006, 21:52 Oooh, I'm not fussed what I get. I always get asked by people and I never have a good answer.
Theres a cool t-shirt I'd like, some new aftershave since my jean-Paul Gautier got stolen, I wouldn't mind an external hard drive for the lappy, I could do with some electric hair clippers if i want to keep this hairstyle and a new pair of glasses that are adult and fashionable would be everything I really want. I love books too and anyone who knows me buys me books if they can't decide. I'm not fussy and the mere act of giving me something is nice enough.
Whoa, no computer games, no toys, nothing that is that childish.
I might officially be an adult :help:
Wilf

:hihi: No, you can let it run as long as you want,or turn it off with the remote again, great for defrosting the windows too , cools it off in the summer as well with the AC, I was all exited to tell the girls at work only to find out most of them had one already

Wonder what else we can get a remote control for, maybe our husbands. Turn it on, let him warm up a bit, then give him a good run around the block.Cool him down in the Summer, if he gets a bit "too hot". :D

Very good :o
I think I've been a bit mundane this year- my only wish was for enough money to get my microwave repaired (which my family have been very good about).

That would be nice...but the problem is there is the danger of him stalling by the time we get there!!!
Everybody wants a 360 it seems, but not many are buying them!
I work in argos and we don't seem to be selling that many, seem to be doing, a fair ammount of psp's but the main thing is Nintendo DS lite, can't seem to stock enough!
Personally, I want a motorbike, although I know it isn't happening!
Cant say there is anything i REALLY want for Christmas. If i want anything i buy myself rather than burden expectations on other people.
At 30 i certainly wouldn't want my parents to spend £400 on console games:loopy:
A new machete, and some bamboo saddle bags for my motorbike. Electricity would be nice too :)
_Kirsty_ 04-12-2006, 14:46 Theres nothing inperticular that i want for Christmas.
Money would be nice but itd only get spent on things i dont need...

Money would be fantastic, but every baht would be spent on things I do need, lol :D
Savannah2 04-12-2006, 15:36 I have no idea what I will be receiving this Christmas, I am always grateful for anything I receive, it's the thought that counts.....not the cost of the present.:)
I would love Guitar Hero, some Prada aftershave and some new clothes. But I have asked for Euro's from everyone instead so I can have a fab new year in Berlin......
