I am in need of a large amount of greenery in preparation for making approx 100 table decorations and door hangings for family, friends and of course the church for Christmas. Connifers, holly and Ivy are the main things required, has anybody any suggestions where I could get any of the above? Alternatively is anyone cutting back or chopping any connifers down.

you could try chelford market (wholesale flowers, fruit, veg etc etc). On a wednesday I think. If you can source it from freind, great, but be careful about taking it from the 'wild', I think you can be prosecuted for it. My mum raids my llandi trees and the three varigated holly bushes in my back garden every year to do half a dozen xmas wreaths, dont think they will provide for the amount your planning though.
