Anyone used a taxi recently at the end of a friday night out to get back to Sheffield from Leeds?

If so, what did they charge you?

Looked at trains, if the partying finished before 2230 we could get the 2310 train, but that aint gonna happen. Next train is not until 0500 on saturday :(

twice, been charged £50. Buisiness expense so I wasn't too bothered

well there is one thing for sure it wont be less than the prices stated as a matter of intrest how many are travelling if there are four of you its not too bad

the leeds travelodge have some £26 rooms if you are looking to stay insted of the taxi!

Nice thought. Though this is acually for a Ministry of Sound do in Harrogate, I don't know what time I'll get back to Leeds.

MoS are providing transport to/from Leeds to Harrogate.

I've gone for it and booked a hotel for the night anyway now, thanks all.

Was thinking about this last weekend - but illness solved the problem..

A friend has been charged £55 and £65 from the West Indian Centre (Chapel Town) to Sheffield (fine if 3 or 4 of you) - but that was 5am on a Sunday morning... (no early train on a sun morning)

Possibly, but don't really know. So would rather sort something than hope I'm not sat around a cold train station for hours! :gag:
