I was unable to find Pick of the pops on the radio 2 schedual and found out the reason why.
It has been axed by the beeb.
BAH,, it was my favourite show and i'm p****d.

Anyway its not all bad news, any fans of this show can listen to my new show which i will present in the next couple of weeks called The Great British No1s.

Its a simular show to POTPs only Dale Winton won't be doing it, it will be little old Cycleracer.
If thats bad news then at least enjoy the music.
The first show will be all the number 1 hits from 1960 and 1961 and will go up a year in the following weeks.
It will be every 2 weeks due to work comittments and the first one will be Saturday 8 till 10am and every two weeks from then on.
It will be an educative show for you younger forum members and a remmonise for us slightly older ones.

So set your speakers up on Friday nights ready for Saturday morning and better still go and get your cornflakes bring them up stairs and listen in bed.

Any views good or bad will be appreciated and in stead of dead wood Dale, let me take over.
Oh by the way the first show will be Saturday 18 September.
