Ya get a Certificate of, err, something too, looks kinda like a reciept. :D Sarah1982 27-11-2006, 18:11 Is it daily you'll need to park? Try the NCP for a season ticket type thing. Strix 27-11-2006, 18:23 there's a map of parking on the council website somewhere - there's a clicky link on 'all your parking questions answered' lou070879 27-11-2006, 18:32 Had many of the ticket / receipt thingy's thanks x Stockers 27-11-2006, 18:56 Solly St still has some free parking but its at a premium so get there early, only a short stroll to Campo Ln though. Faye12 29-11-2006, 10:51 Yeah there are NCP's at both ends of Campo Lane, as the wardens around that area are pretty quick. Johnh 29-11-2006, 10:54 Take your car into KwikFit on Broad Lane and have a free winter/brake check. Take it in at 8.30am and tell them you'll pick it up at 5pm!! sccsux 29-11-2006, 12:14 Take your car into KwikFit on Broad Lane and have a free winter/brake check. It used to be a doddle a few years ago but the council have more or less boxed off the free parking. The NCP is expensive but there was an open air NCP on West Bar (near to Scotland St) that was a lot cheaper, wouldn't be surprised if it's a building site now. Johnh 29-11-2006, 13:45 Good idea:thumbsup:. This post will probably be removed by the SF Administrator so as not to offend KwikFit?? JoeP 29-11-2006, 13:47 This post will probably be removed by the SF Administrator so as not to offend KwikFit?? No, but you may want to get over your issues with the Mod. team on this site. If you have issues, use the Heldpesk. sccsux 29-11-2006, 15:35 there was an open air NCP on West Bar (near to Scotland St) that was a lot cheaper, wouldn't be surprised if it's a building site now. Long gone, I'm afraid:(. To cap it all, the NCP charges £2.20 for 1 hour:o. The NCP in Rotherham, charges £1.00 for 2 hours:confused: Stockers 29-11-2006, 15:38 Is it going to be all day every day? Solly St is your only choice, free and close by. big_g 29-11-2006, 20:26 Lots of parking near Campo Lane. Bottom of Broad Lane has some - about £5 for the day. Scotland St has on street parking - again about £5 for the day. There's another off Rockingham way (or Street) - behind Division St - about a fiver. All these get parked up by about 9. G Bolero 29-11-2006, 21:18 Stagecoach buses are 70p per journey, why take the bus? (awaits people seriously thinking I'm being serious....) Mr Goose 30-11-2006, 07:49 (looks over shoulder) I know a secret place, right in the town centre, free... but it is a geese-only space... ;) |
