I was just looking up a journey on the Sypte travel planner and its all changed from 1st Sept. you are now taken to an all Yorkshire county site( will be when complete).Its a lot more detailed then the old version.You now can break a journey down to your nearest bus stop. If a change of bus is required it can even tell you how far it is to walk!
I tested it with a local and a long distance.The local one was interesting it give me the quickest and longest ie 1/2 outer circle for longest and the more direct 17/53 option. The long distance test was home to Whitby and it came up with the correct answers!

Just checked out the site. It's great, exactly what I was looking for. I asked it how to get somewhere by bus from my house, typed in my postcode and the postcode of where I wanted to go, and it gave me various options with jorney times, maps of where to get off buses and get on connecting ones.

I had tried the 'first' buses website yesterday and it was useless, this one is much better.
