Walking into the park today and oh, what a beauty. There was a lovely British Bulldog aged 11 months. He was quite leggy and long nosed - very well bred imo, he was incredibly fit for BB and chased Takara around for a while. He wasn't at all put off by Eddy's 'I don't like BBs' attitude.

What a lovely little dog - hope I see him again.

great stuff! and well done to someone somewhere for breeding a sensible BB!. incindentally, did he have a tail?. not sure when, but soon to become kennel club rule that docked dogs cannot be shown if born after a certain date, and seen one or two traditionally docked breeds tailus intactus as ringcraft recently. IMO, great to see.

Yes, I had heard this too - no, he was docked but other than that - a lovely dog.

Have seen quite a few lately that have been undocked but the best one was a rottie who I admired and said about her tail. When I asked who they'd got her from they said they'd gone a long way for her because they had trouble finding undocked ones close by - she was a few years old - so no new rules by then. It was really nice to see someone go out of their way for an undocked dog.

I know what you mean - Docking dogs is sad :( but Way to go to the rottie owner for actually travelling the extra distance for their dog - that shows they really wanted the dog.
