Hi everyone! Can anyone recommend a good place to eat and a few nice pubs in town where i can take my parents on saturday night?

My ususal scene generally comprises of anywhere cheap and loud but I don't think they'll go for that!

I'm guessing that your parents are of my generation give or take 10 years. Personally, I wouldn't like to be taken down town for a meal or a pub. If you must go though try Regent's Terrace for a meal which has been discussed elsewhere on here. For a pub I would certainly chose somewhere out in the suburbs or Derbyshire for the more relaxed atmosphere we wrinklies prefer.
