Sadly, there are plenty of do-gooders on this forum who are happy to deride the work being done in Iraq but don't have the spine themselves to bear arms and support their nation. Low-lives that they are.

What a cogent argument. That's me convinced !

Regardless of your politics, you can't deny that soldiers of all nations who sign up to defend their country, knowing they may suffer a painful death in the line of duty, deserves the respect and lifelong admiration of all of us.

Too many people are living in cloud cuckoo land if you think the world is going to dis-arm and there will ever be a time when we don't need these brave men and women.

If it weren't for people willing to fight forces of evil we'd all be speaking German, wearing lederhosen and eating Bratwurst for breakfast.

I take my hat off to all our service personnel, across the world.

I think you'll find it was the Para's who did the filming that put the soundtrack to the images; there's a tradition stretching back to Vietnam of war being fought to the sound of rock music.

I'm sure it was the paras who put the music on. But it doesn't sit well to me. Whatever floats your boat.
