Bolero 24-11-2006, 16:59 I find it difficult to understand how anyone would need help preparing a CV. Basically there is no right or wrong way to do it. Provided it contains your personal details, education and relevent career history, you can't really go wrong. Creating your own also gives any potential employer the impression you can do things on your own without having to be talked through and have everything explained. Not that I've ever recruited anyone in my life like, so probably best to get some help and ignore what I've got to say. marmite 24-11-2006, 18:03 I find it difficult to understand how anyone would need help preparing a CV. If its set out too much like a report, chances are it just looks boring, and if it looks boring, whats the point in an employer making the effort to read it. Just have your 'deets' (details) at the top centred, and everything else how you would like it. alchresearch 24-11-2006, 18:04 Go to the library. Get a book on CVs or use their computers and do a web search. Use the same computers to make your CV! |
