Anyone heard about a new restaurant opening where the (sadly missed) Mash House used to be on Division Street? I've heard a new pasta bar will be moving in, and I urgently need contact details to make an Xmas booking (if poss)

If its new (not even opened) and you don't know for sure what sort of restaurant its going to be, why do you want to book your Christmas party there? It could turn out to be anything! :confused:

Wow! That was a whole mine of useless information I wasn't expecting! (bar the first response).

I read Nicky06's message to suggest that I call the Pasta Bar for info on the new place as the same owner is quite possibly involved (sensible suggestion, and useful comment I thought). As I have been to the Pasta Bar many times I would assume that any new venture initiated by the same people would exact the same high standards, and so would be prepared to give it a try.

I use forums (as I'm sure many others do) so I can follow up any information given in my own good time. Quite strange to be held at gunpoint to act on a suggestion!

I think it's open now, it is the same bloke who owns the Pasta Bar, excellent.

Not open yet...going to be another 'Pasta bar'...old Mash House menus still up :( ...advertising for kitchen staff...opening date unknown...

Booked up somewhere else for Xmas - plenty opportunities new year to try the new place :)
