Hi I am looking for someone who has a female rat snake who would like to put it together with my 6ft albino as I would love to have some young from this great snake as it is so soft and gentle and it has a great tempermmant.

Not sure if it could be bred with anything else but im sure blues will let me know LOL.

Also if anybody has some hog nosed pythons let me know.

how do they sex snakes? i have seen how they sex larger reptiles and its not very nice! lol.

sav baby they stick a lubed cold metal probe up their bottom and see how far it will go I believe it goes in about two or three scales deep for a female or about 5-6 for a male making my eyes water just thinking about it LOL.

honestly, its painless and causes little if any stress and then you will know for sure if your scaly is a he or a she and can maybe 'get it on' with CV's stunning male.

Thanks blues that cheered me up a bit as everyone else who has seen my rat snake aren't that keen as they think snakes should all look like monty but I think they are both stunning for their type and so are the little corns. I cant believe how different those two are ones always hyper and the other one just lays there all chilled out like he cant be bothered.

One or two ppl on the reptastic forum have them, make a few enquiries and find out if they breed or where to obtain one. you seen the albino burmese on there?, what a beauty!. get way too big though or would have snapped him up at that price.

found one supplier CV, and has one or two young hog-nose available. do courier, but i reckon well worth a train ticket to go and look round the place, i bet its awsome!. i think white-lipped pythons may be my next project.

I dont know blues I fancy the emerald forest/tree boa they look so vivid and so much like an exotic snake and I think they are beautifull personally but I have heard they are a bit snappy. More research needed I think LOL
