where, other than the Fat Cat & Devonshire Cat can you still get such a beverage? I never see it in pubs anymore, and just occasionally I think that it would just hit the spot.

Any idea's folks?

Kelham Island Tavern always has a mild, and you can usually get one at the Devonshire Cat. Usual suspects really!

Tetley Mild has been known to make an apperance in the Old Monk as a guest beer.

The Cask and Cutler at Shalesmoor Tram shop normally has your required beverage.

If you can squeeze past the beer nerds

The landlord of my old workplace has several real ales if that is your thing, I'm not sure what his current stocks are but if you are in the Attercliffe area drop into the Carlton on the junction of Attercliffe road and Woodburn RD.

I think...

I do love a pint of mild, though it's true you don't see it much.

My local, The White Lion on Chesterfield Road, always has Tetleys Dark Mild on, it's a class pint.
