I am needing ideas for a weekend club night in sheffield. I am unable to disclose the venue at the moment, but can say it is in the town centre, and will hold between 6 and 700 people.

Do you have any idea of the direction you want the venue to go in - that is quite important & might help suggestions for serious ideas for promoters/nights.. mainstream/ slight left of centre dance/underground dance/R&B/student/ indie etc etc???

what you really need to do, is create a private forum! scott bond did one for the night that was in sheffield then was that big moved to birmingham.

select 10-15 mates who will be the main parties. (who go clubbing and know what there on about

they then in tourn select a further 5 - 10 mates each.. till you ahve around 100 members.. word of mouth spreads very quick..

simular to this forum but different threads.. let people have there say.. and pick up on other peoples opinions / ideas.

you can and will create a massive buzz which in turn will give your night a very big kick start!
