View Full Version : Opinions on another site

Classic Rock

I just thought I'd do a search on the net for the pub and stumbled over this site:

site (http://www.bbc.co.uk/southyorkshire/greedycow/pubs/hunters_bar/classicrockbar.shtml)

Good to have the positive comments, but a bit sad that a couple of people have sour grapes about my contribution on this site.

Of course I use the site to publicise the bar but at the same time make a lot of worthwhile quality comments on various threads too. I've got you all looking at pubs around the city and have provided a venue for friendly meets and offered opinions and advice where appropriate. Its a shame that the authors of those comments haven't bothered to post on here but have run off to another site to be b*tchy without reading the other contributions I regularly make. I hate that.

Am I just being sensitive here or do they have a point?

You run a business, you get free publicity, what is their problem?

Enjoy the forum (and others if you can tear yourself away).

Don't worry about it. I have no problem with you promoting your business and I bet the majority of the folks on this forum don't either. I wouldn't take any notice of the comments as they were pretty juvenile at best. :loopy:

I think all you have to do is look and see how many positive comments there are as opposed to the negative ones......then think **** em.

All your posts are on topic, are relevant and informative. I think they are just sad...that Fred bloke probably runs another pub and didn't get a good rating!

Congrats on the review BTW!!
