Hi,

Does anyone know of a good taxi company that will take me out to the peak district from sheffield without charging a fortune?

I've hired a cottage in Hope for a holiday but neither I nor my boyfriend can drive so I need a way to get out there and the cottage is a bit too far from the train station to try that :(

Can you not get a taxi from Hope station? Give the station a ring and ask them if they have a noticeboard with any local firms numbers on.

You can take bikes on the train to Hope. Get the train out to Hope Station and then cycle the rest of the way.

Allegedly a taxi company, but don't blame me if you don't phone em first, & end up with a limo... :p
