The iconic monsters from two of the biggest film franchises ever battle each other on Earth in ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. The movie had the strangely ironic tag line 'No matter who wins, we lose.' we did!

Your suggestions for other multi franchise movies, please!

Does The Magnificent Dirty 19 work?

Or 2005.5:An Average Space Odyssey.

Or One Flew Over The Eagles's Nest where Clint rescues some inmates from an asylum only to throw them out of the plane when he can't stand their ravings any more.

What about ET V ER Plot; a man gets VD and ET uses ESP to cure his VD in the GUC when a MD played by MR T find he is OK and leaves ASAP!

Steven Spielberg's (1993) franchise Schindler's List and the Herbie VW series. Schindler Goes Bananas (the shadow of the hatebug)

Harry Potter does Dallas! :loopy:

Just seen the cinema top ten, almost ALL are rated '12A'. One '15' but no '18' films.

looks like you're all begining to realise one of the movie industry secrets, in that all films have a 'partner'. The idea being that if one studio releases a sci-fi then another releases a sci-fi. One releases a romantic comedy and so does another and so on....

Classic partners are as follows:-
Star Wars / Star Trek
Beauty & The Beast / Anastasia
Nightmare On Elm Street / Hellraiser
Alien 3 / Sphere

The list goes on.

Keep an eye out and you'll see everything comes in pairs.

Rocky Vs Rambo would be somewhat tricky given that the lead characters in both films were played by the same bloke, Sly Stallone :D
