Hi,

my boyfriend is currently job searching and is looking for work with either an in-house design department in a big-ish company or with an independant design agency.
Does anyone know of any big companies (such as Thorntons or EDS) based in or within commutable distance of Sheffield that are likely to have in-house design/marketing departments, so we can send off speculative applications to them and check for any opportunities they may have?
Alternatively, does anyone know of any design agencies within the area that we can have a look at?

not thorntons sweets unfortunatly, he didn't get that job because they decided that although they advertised for a graduate, they actually wanted someone with 2 years + experience. He was sat on the floor playing mega drive when i typed that post, gotta love the motivation!

BDP desisgn I think on Carver Street, EDS based on Napier st but dont recruit very oftenb and I think it's just IT down there.
