DaBouncer 03-07-2003, 09:22 I like students personally. They are lively when out on the town, and good for the city in diversity in culture and hygiene:P Long may they dwell upon our streets. E-Man Groovin 03-07-2003, 10:24 Right on DB! I'm with you on that! P.S. Did you contact the radio people BTW? DaBouncer 03-07-2003, 10:29 Oh, pants..... not yet! It's on my to do list for this afternoon. Been very busy of late! Mo 03-07-2003, 10:36 Yep, they are very welcome in my book. I know they are loud and boistrous and throw up all over the place :D but they bring life and vibrancy to the city. It's much too quiet when they've gone home. hiyabeing 03-07-2003, 10:40 I think students ok..... used to be one myself. I work in Fulwood though, and it's so much nicer when the schools are shut, and no University students around. I can leave home EVEN later then and still get to work within my Flexi time (well most days anyway) RPG 03-07-2003, 10:56 Students = Good in my opinion Heck i want to be one next year in this very city ;) Red 2 08-07-2003, 13:45 yeah they're good but im biased ;) Phanerothyme 08-07-2003, 15:06 I agree - despite many of them cannot communicate without shouting, they have a positive effect on the city. takumi 08-07-2003, 15:07 yup.. of course they are GOOD.. hehehe  and they also increase economic activity.. hMmMmm.. and they also add to the atmosphere of the surrounding city.. mullers 09-07-2003, 08:57 Originally posted by hiyabeing I work in Fulwood though and still get to work within my Flexi time (well most days anyway) Sounds to me like you work where I work. PCT? SCT? I work for West PCT, and agree that it's easier to get into work when the students are off. |
