Thanks for that Paul - but instead of posting on the forum why dont you crack on and fill some of those call centre vacancies!!!

It depends what kind of job you're looking for but there are lots of places down church street (nr the cathedral) you can drop your CV off in.

I found Hollie at Reed nice and helpful, and Manpower were good too. Applying directly to employers through adverts in The Star worked best for me though. Good luck!

been with spring personnel - next to the cathedral on church st for a year now, two excellent long-term temp posts which really suited me.

i registered with loads and these guys have kept me busy and listened to what I wanted, so no crap offers or unsuitable hours.

the number is 0114 273 0075 - really friendly and nice, plus they reckon jan there will be shiploads of perm and temp work coming in.

city catering in the city centre aren't very good in my personal experience
