Did anyone notice that their water was slightly brown yesterday?

I've assumed it's safe to drink...does anyone know what causes it?

dependes where you are, but around shirecliffe, norwood and pagehall areas there are major repairs happening to do with water mains/pipes maybe this has something to do with it

We always buy brown water.....it comes in a Bushmills bottle and makes your legs go funny.......Sorry......walks quietly away and sits in the corner.

Quite safe, contains a fair bit of sugar but you should be fine.

Either rust or peat - it's drinkable, usually.

In parts of the USA where water is scarce they use a little rhyme:
"If it's brown, flush it down, if it's yellow, let it mellow...."
