Hi, I'd really like to make some paper lanterns (like the ones at Sharrow lantern festival), and have looked in craft shops, florists and DIY shops for some willow, but been unable to find any.

I'm sure there must be somewhere that sells 'withies', but does anyone have an idea where it may be!?

thanks

Where did your previous thread go? I googled this and left you a reply there

The supplier I found only did massive bundles, but they should be able to tell you which retailers they supply to in our area (or further afield if necessary ;) )

easiest option - find a large willow tree and go at night - give it a trim and there you have it!!

your saving the council a job and know one notices - weve done it plenty of times the tree doesnt mind as our willow grows mad each year!
