Im coming to sheffield on november 6th for mine and a friends birthday, there will be 32 of us of both sexes ranging from 21 to 30. We are going to hed kandi at GC1 and we are also staying over in a hotel in the city centre. My question is which bars are the best to go in......funky/trendy bars, we are all into funky house music or similar sort off stuff. Also what is the dress code on hed kandi night for lads as i know some bouncers can be t***s. Your advice will be appreciated as none of us have ever been to sheffield.

Bar Hoi ,lounge , muse on west street haylocon forum are the funky/trendie type bars on division street also Matix bar on the way down to GC1 (or republic as soon still call it)

I think the dress code for men is kinda "no ben sherman/rockport etc etc".

I'd recommend some cool trainers, jeans and funky top. Casual but cool if ya catch me drift....... xxx

Takapuna is a good option

Yeah def Takapuna on west street, it's the pre bar for Gc on a sat night, with funky house and twisted vibes. Note that door policy applys, (no rockport, lacoste, burbury, n all those townie makes)
