I'm coming up to sheffield late December with the wife and looking to stay in a public house that has accomodation. Can anyone help or are there no pubs that do this. Cheers. :help:

I know Netheredge Hotel has a public bar and also has rooms to let im not sure what it's like inside though.

Try the Harley.

If you like real ale - the Hilsborough Hotel may be worth a look - its a few miles out towards Hilsborough(!) but on the tram tracks - so 10 mins into town - the view out the windows wont win any awards - but its a nice pub inside (though not too rioutous)

The Rutland in the city centre used to do rooms as well - nice beer garden (though maybe a bit chilly in December), decent beer and good (if a bit stodgy) food.

It's hardly 'a few miles' out jake, scarcely a mile out of the city centre. It's quiet but has an excellent range of beers. Not tried the food myself, but the place has an air of understated quality about it.

The Psalter Tavern have rooms, its a great pub/bar and they serve lovely food too.

The Hillsborough Hotel comes recommended.

The Fulwood Inn has accommodation.

It's also a top boozer serving excellent food, has plenty of parking space and is relatively easy to find.

The Rutland Arms, Brown Street, City Centre (not to be confused with the Rutland Hotel) still does accommodation.

Ha Ha - don't stay there whatever you do. Don't even drink there. In fact just forget all about the place.

Hillsbro Hotel would be a good choice.

The Hillsborough Hotel is a very clean, fairly upmarket real ale pub with accomodation, I understand it to be reasonable priced and the food is very good. It has parking and is on the tram route. About one and a half miles out of the centre. Think they have a web site.

The harley is really central, on the tram route (by the university stop), has a late bar and nice rooms, it's clean and friendly, and does a mean breakfast!

Robin Hood in Stannington is an excellent Pub and has good quality accommodation, their web site is here (http://www.robinhoodloxley.co.uk)

Does the Bath Hotel (off the top of West Street) do accommodation?

It looked even more derelict and shabby than usual last time I went past. It's hard to tell with the Farfield, but I think it was actually dead.

Yeah, try the Harley, good food, nice rooms, great booze and top music.
