I've just posted this in the History part of the forum, but had no-reply and Im desperate for this information..........

I'm trying to find out as much information as I can about the history of MeersBrook Bank Primary School, for an assignment that I need to do for my course.

If anyone out there has any info, websites, etc that I could use to help me, it would be really appreciated.

Also I could do with some info on the surrounding areas, so if anyone can help, please let me know!!

They celebrated their centenary in 1994. My kids were both there then and I remember there was a lot of interesting history stuff going on in the school. Have you been in touch with the school?
Also-have you tried the Heeley History project?
I used to live on Brook Road, and a lot of the older people round there went to the school.
Have you thought about leafletting a the local houses?
