There's been a little red car parked at the bottom of Rutland Road opposite Wickes for over 2 weeks now..
Does anyone know whos it is and why it's still there ??
I'm just curious..(ok then nosey):) :)
It just seems a bit strange that it's not been moved..

I have seen that car for the last week or so, surprised the police haven't moved it, I am sure that is an urban clearway, and it has no tickets on it which is another surprise.

I know.. And it doesn't seem to have been broken into or anything either.. No broken windows from what I've seen..
It's a mystery.. :)

It had a ticket on it the other day when I saw it. Someone might have removed it now.

Could be abandoned, although it seems a strange place to leave it. Maybe it broke down.

Why is it we can notice it there for over ten days now, yet the police just seem to ignore it?
In the evening rush hour it just causes more problems.

could it possibly be one of those police capture cars?

nah- its obviously been abandoned there by someone who probably can't be bothered to pay for repairs for it, they have put the stop-lock on it though- which is nice!

It has had at least one ticket on it. I think (but am not certain) that cars have to be left in situ for 14 days before they can be considered to be abandoned.

It doesn't cause any obstruction at all - it's half on the pavement, plenty of room for both pedestrians and traffic on Rutland Road.

If it's taxed then it can park legally there.

I believe (but i could be wrong) that its a clearway and there is no parking on that stretch of road.

You could ring the 101 number if you REALLY wanted to see it shifted.

This is correct.

It look's as though it is parked where there is a doorway into the building. And maybe they are driving it home at night and bringing it back in the mornings and parking in the same spot, where the doorway is...

I don't think thats the case. I walk past it everyday and I'm pretty sure it ain't moved since it was put there.
