That reminds me of the time my ex left her ahem - special elongated toy in her drawer - she'd been tidying her drawers out, and must have set the thing going without realising. She went to bed and lay there for an hour wondering where the buzzing was coming from. :|

That's only slightly less embarrassing than getting to check your suitcase in on a flight and your suitcase making a noticeable buzzing noise, and having to open it there in front of everyone in the queue to stop the noise before they'd accept it through the check in.

It could be Tinnitus you're suffering from?, I suffer with it sometimes, I usually hear Hi- Pitch noises or something like a burst football but apparently tinnitus sufferers can hear all different kinds of noises.
