Don't be so nasty about slim people, everyone is how they are naturally ... bad habits just make it more pronounced. Men who don't exercise and eat and drink too much get a beer belly and start to wobble. Men who get too much exercise and don't eat and drink enough get bony ...

There does seem to be a post nearly every few months from some woman wanting reassurance that although she's like a houseside some bloke will want her. Since I've been on the Forum, they crop up with monotonous regularity.

People, men or women, who fancy excessive fat are few and far between. I don't like the look of fat men myself, but equally, men who are stick thin aren't to my taste either.

Although the state we're in now where a size 6 is considered a usual size for a grown woman is ridiculous.

Perfection for me would be a quite athletic, slim woman (I think I equate this with healthiness, and by god, the things the feel of a hard stomach do to me...) - not body builder built, but just nicely toned. Also not too fussed about big boobs, though they're not a complete turn off if they don't look out of place. Think it's about being capable, I take a certain amount of pride in physical achievement and people with completely useless / unused bodies aren't sexy imo. I also have a thing for slightly violent women, saw a spanish lady fighting on a thai boxing show a while ago and (edit for respect / avoiding shin-related death should this ever be read in spain) 'thought that she was very attractive'. People I can learn from are even better.

From discussion, in my circle of close friends (maybe 5-6 men I've talked about this with) I seem to be pretty much alone in my selectivity for thin women. The rest all prefer curvaceous. So, the message is, women should all be thin, because I'll be happier. Screw the majority.

Even when slim I am a size 18-20, cos that's the size of my shoulders and boobs. In order to get down to a 0 I'd need bones removing.

I might add that I've never had any shortage of offers though, so there must be plenty of blokes who like women who have to stand them on a box to kiss them.

Never apologise, bexiboo, no-one else here does :P. In my usual hamfisted way I was trying to say that many women are concerned about whether they appear attractive to men. Not that you shouldn't have posted about it.

Fat or thin, tall or short these things are so totally unimportant to me. The personality and whether we get on is so much more important.
I used to go out with a girl who was a size 10/12 she went through a fad with exercise and turned into a walking exttremely healthy skeleton but I still liked her.
Girls often seem to percieve themselves in a very distorted fashion and find fault with the most miniscule point and so when they start moaning to me I try to re-assure them by pointing out all their attractive features and I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't got some rredeaning feature.

Personally I can't stand big, and that includes fat, women. I also intensely dislike big breasts. Anything above a 36B really puts me off and I would much prefer a 34B. :love: :love: :love:

They're just trying to be realistic ... and also they do have a cope with constant pressure from newspapers and mags constantly going on about size 6 as though it's normal for anyone over the age of 12 to be that size, look perfect and never have a zit.

Most men on the other hand can never seem to see any faults in themselves and even if their most glaring problems were pointed out to them, a la Trinnie and Susannah, they'd not care anyway!

This is why women over a certain age don't care either, we've dumped the oestrogen and our testosterone has taken over. I've now almost completed the transition to maleness, I've lost the ability to multi-task, become idle beyond the point of acceptability, think I'm perfect, ogle fit young blokes, and I found a hair growing on my chin the other day!
