I just bought an original xbox off ebay with 2 controllers and 14 games.

The games are:-

Need for speed most wanted
The godfather
Shrek 2
Doom 3
Brothers in arms earned in blood
Brothers in arms road to hill 30
Black
The punisher
The urbz- sims in the city
Sims bustin out
Unreal championship 2
Worms 4 mayhem
Splinter cell chaos theory

I personally think you landed a bargain there, especially with all the games..

I think in this instance the difference between a bargain and being ripped off would be whether it actually arrives.

Depends whether the games are original boxed games or whether they're *ahem* aquired...

Sorry Meds I know we're not meant to discuss *aquired* stuff... Trouble is, 14 games for £80 sounds a bit too good to be strictly above board IMO, and in my experience anything that looks too good to be kosher usually is.

It's just that with that many games offered, alarm bells started ringing in my 'ead :D

I sold an xbox box earlier in the year with 2 controllers, and 14 boxed orignal games for £60 as no-one would offer any more for it!

Xbox only auctions end at around £30. It all depends on the games as to what the final price is.

Cheap on eBay doesn't alway's mean it's copied or dodgy. I recently bought some software that normally goes for £40+ for £1.25 and it was genuine :cool:

Also it can be luck of the draw if nobody else is after that paticular item at that point in time.

Hidden auctions are the ones to look out for IE the ones that dont show up in certain searches due to typos etc.

I have found some bargains using THIS (http://www.missing-auctions.com/) but not alway's guaranteed to find anything. Worth looking every now and then though :thumbsup:
