Robbie Loving 19-11-2006, 12:57 That's the official reason. According to commentator he gave the player a little push. This is from SWFC web site, i doubt it was a small push. But I haven't seen the incident But the Owls suffered a self-inflicted body blow in the 16th minute after Small had been fouled. City hardman Michael Doyle's 'friendly' word provoked the SWFC winger to lash out against the Irishman and referee Swarbrick had no hesitation in bringing out the red card. sufc_tom 19-11-2006, 14:20 This is from SWFC web site, i doubt it was a small push. That's correct, I could read his lips when I saw it on The Championship this morning. He clearly said "he grabbed my *****". Unfortunately the ref only saw his reaction. I think it was mainly a push but he sort of pushed him with his elbow which made it look worse than it was. Heat of the moment stuff but as he is a professional he should have known better than to let an old vinny jones trick wind him up. To be honest I can't see the two red cards being overturned. Teabag 19-11-2006, 17:03 Small was out of order and Brunty was unlucky The lads played with great spirit again and I was very impressed with Brian Law's post match interview on Radio Sheffield....very refreshing aaron_ocs 23-11-2006, 15:14 it happens the best thing now is 2 goin in2 the cardiff game and get a result against the championship leaders if we get a result on saturday that will show 2 teams we are not ****in around |
