View Full Version : Bus drivers are Psychos!!!!
tomjerry 16-11-2006, 16:47 Am I the only person who thinks that bus drivers are psychotic lunatics?
I was just driving merrilly on my way and indicated to make a turn and a bus driver thought it would be a fab idea to block the side road that I was attempting to turn onto. The bus driver deliberately moved forward thus blocking the road. Of course, me being a woman was totally in the wrong and he proceeded to shout and threaten me.
This happened on Crookesmoor Road at tea time and if you are the fat ugly bloke who was swearing at me with my small child in the car, then shame on you. I bet it made you feel good swearing at me - only big men swear at women with young children in tow.
Is anyone else really fed up with bus drivers thinking that they own the road, have priority over all and of course the ole favourite of being entitled to driving through red lights at all times. I think bus drivers ought to have to take some kind of "sanity test" before being able to operate such machinery.
Surely i'm not the only person who feels this hatred towards bus drivers (and of course fat blokes who gain pleasure swearing at women).

Why do you feel the need to mention his appearance and weight? I'm overweight myself and find the term 'fat ugly bloke' even when aimed at someone else quite offensive:(
But maybe he was .... fat and ugly !
fox20thc 16-11-2006, 17:07 Don't let nokia3250 see this thread he'll pitch a fit. :hihi:
nokia3250 16-11-2006, 17:13 thanks a lot for calling me a psycho, just because 1 bus driver maybe, doesnt mean that we all are!!![/

The best bus drivers are the ones that ask passengers for directions
The bus drivers on this rock are fat ugly lunatics:)
I'm over weight myself (but doing something about it) but have no issues with reffering to others as fat and / or ugly.

I don't.
....
tomjerry 16-11-2006, 18:18 Sorry Lee2. I didn't mean to be weightist (is this a correct terminology?). It was quite dark and I didn't really see his other features. He was f&u though plus foul mouthed. I'm sure you don't have these three traits.

Well, yes, but you would hope that a bus driver would know their routes.

Was driving up to hospital (very) early doors last week when I got stuck behind a bus (the only bit of traffic on the road). Said bus then decided that 15 mph was the best speed to take all the way up West Street, Upper Hanover and Western Bank.
I've also noticed a reluctance of bus drivers to pull into the marked bus-stop bays, instead choosing to stop in the middle of the road blocking traffic and causing passengers to have to walk from the kerb to the bus.
With this lack of consideration is it any surprise that drivers are a little keen to pass buses when they can?
Still, at least our patient enjoyed a further 15 minutes of my mate's charming company.

and after several pints whom then cause a fight with the passengers, now they are the best bus drivers.
ive only had one bad encounter when some tosspot driver. He deliberatly kept trapping my leg in bus doors so i couldnt get in, what a nob. Eventually, i pressed the emergency open button so i could get free from his little game, only to be told to not ever touch his effing button and to eff off you little sh*t.

I've noticed one or two occasions of drivers being not-in-service driving back to the depot that they don't take any prisoners.
Grim Reaper 16-11-2006, 20:27 Indeed woe betide you get in the way of a driver at the end of their shift :hihi:

Well said! I also got run into by a bus several years ago, on a crossing when the lights were in my favour! There were no witnesses (other than another bus driver:huh: ) - I wasn't badly hurt - just cuts and bruises!

You should make a complaint to the bus company. It's the only thing they'll understand. Give them the bus number and time, or just the route if you don't know the number.
