Hi Guys

I've been using my Belkin wireless router fine with AOL but now that my contract is over with them and I want to use another ISP my laptop wont recognise the router at all and I cant figure it out at all, any ideas?

Sorry got mixed up. The pc wont recognise the router when I use AOL. Someone told me that AOL will only work with Netgear routers and not Belkin ones, does anyone know if thats correct?

I've set a few Linksys routers up for AOL users without a problem, so I don't think are restricting it in any way.

surely the pc can still see the router but the router cannot connect to AOL, no?

if you can't see the router when you try using AOL then you are doing something very strange so can you give a few more details please

Thanks for the help guys but a cold reset did the trick.

reset the router delete any connections on it on the control panel and start from fresh

with your new ISP dial up info.
