Any one know if theres a hat pattern, I can print off,
just something like an ordinary pull on one, Been to jtf today and they'd,
got some nice odd balls of wool, fluffy kind and ribbon kind,
3 and 4 balls in different shades, thought it might make a nice hat,
I'm just getting back in to knitting, and there seems to be some realy fancy stuff now.

By the way the wool was 65p a ball, dont know if thats cheap or not,
but I've knitted a realy nice scarf with 5 balls they had last week, and that was only 50p a ball

These two caught my eye. They're just basic roll-brim pull-on hats:

Hat 1 (http://www.crazyauntpurl.com/archives/2005/06/easy_rollbrim_k_1.php)

Hat 2 (http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/cotton_chen-waikiki-hat.html)

There are also long lists of hat patterns here (http://knitting.about.com/library/blhatspic.htm) and here (http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/hats.php), though I haven't checked them out myself. You might find what you're looking for though :) .

Remember to take into account the yarn used in the pattern, and to match the gauge if you have to substitute an alternative yarn.

You have a bargain there with the yarn you bought. I think the cheapest I've come across is about £2.50 or so. Some of he Rowan chunky yarns are now £7.50 a ball :o .
