Yes, they are out in force from NPower giving stories of other companies uping thier prices on the Standing Charge.

Tactics involve, no matter who you have your gas with, they will tell you your supplier are putting thier standing charges up and try to get you to sign with them and say, if you are happy with your current supplier give us a call within 2 weeks and we will cancel.

The truth is, only British Gas are raising thier prices

So beware, DO NOT SIGN anything, if need be check with your supplier first

British Gas have announced a 12.4 % annual rise on Gas & 9.4% rise on Electricity.On average a house will be expected to pay £52 per year extra.What a rip off dwindling North Sea Gas & Oil prices due to the war in Iraq .Cobblers & Load of mean anything.

Other suppliers are bound to jump in at this news and why not, but what will happen is that many unhappy British Gas customers will switch supplier only for the new supplier to do the same.
It will happen believe me but i think that we should not tolarate BG and leave on principle.
