View Full Version : Movie buff wanted
Male or female [pref male :-)] to accompany/take me to movies lol on a regular basis.
Seriously now..just looking for someone who likes movies..and who's cool to hang out with...just to go look at a movie!!!!!
Any takers
Would depend on how regular you're talking but I'd possibly be up for it.
I'm considering signing up for one of those cards from the UGC anyway, only thing that puts me off is the fact of having to pay for a year of it up front, that's like £120 before you've even done owt.
You dont have to pay for a year up front. You pay £10 a month, but youre not allowed to cancel the card until youve had it for 12 months.
DaBouncer 25-08-2004, 14:14 I'm a pretty big movie buf, but dont think my wife would approve of me going to the movies with another lady to be honest :P
Happy to discuss movies and entertainment with you though.
What sort of movies you into Lianndi?

Take "her indoors" with you when you go out then... Saves arguments later ;)
I usually go to the UGC once a week or more (have an unlimited card - hence lots of posts from me saying I've seen films in this forum....)
If I fit the bill of seat filler let me know ;o)

I like - foreign language films, ACTION, adventure..if i am pushed might do romance [:loopy:] tho sappy is not my scene!
bouncer - to know me is to trust me :-) i don't do infidelity or people's husbands lol..so ur wife shouldnt be worried. however..just bring her along man!
Thanks guys.. as someone said considering getting that card at UGC too, when my disposable income reaches a level higher than my outgoings!
Will keep u posted rudi; or rather u should keep me posted because by the time i have thought about going to see a movie you write a 'review' of it!!!!

I think it was me that said about getting the UGC card ;)
Just trying to weigh up whether I'd get my money's worth out of it though, probably would at the moment cos there's 2 or 3 films still on that I wouldn't mind seeing like Garfield, Thunderbirds etc.

Sheffield20 27-08-2004, 07:49 UGC Unlimited card holder here too.
If any other card holders fancy seeing a film some time, drop me a PM :)
I don't have the UGC card (yet) but I'm going in a bit to see Garfield if anyone's up for it.
Probably the lunch time session.
Seen thunderbirds - please please wait for the video..or take kids to see it
Might think about Garfield..tho i heard both of them weren't that hot..but c'est la vie
BrainThrust 30-08-2004, 19:17 I love movies but most of my mates never want to go as much as i do.
if anyoen does decide to go see something drop me a PM.
I'll not spend my money on Garfield though.
Maybe we should have a Forum Film Club? there seems to be a lot of interest in it.
