As someone who has moved flat/house now for over 18 times (no I wasn't evicted or running from the rent :)) I've found that it really tends to help if Landlords could provide the following information so if at all possible could you include this lot.

- Rent (include period per week/month?)
- Road name and postcode location
- Amenities included (shower, w/m, .. sharing amenities?)
- Bills included (or not)
- Phone point provided (type: BT/Cable)
- Net access available (if applicable)
- Council Tax band (if not for students)


Oh and finally please, please, please... can you actually respond to posts in the forum and not just post your advert and ignore it.. By doing so you are implying that you won't respond to your tenants pleas for help with the plumbing lets go, etc... It doesn't give a good impression...

Whoops... a PS: to avoid loads of people contacting you once the place has been taken, it also helps if you can post to update your "available" thread so that no-one ends up posting.. "is it available still" and wasting yours and their time...

In addition to that, we often remove posts that are over a month old.

Landlords / agents with multiple properties should put them all in a single post and update that as often as possible.
