When I go to type something anywhere on the computer e.g filling out forms online and stuff, how do I stop the computer coming up with that drop down list of stuff I have typed in before?

I'm also rubbish at trying to explain something, basically if someone got on my computer and searched on google, I dont want them to see what I have searched for before.

Thanks :)

If you are using Firefox click on tools - options - privacy- and un tick the option for remembering what you have put in search bar and forms
Sorry don't know about IE.

Hi just found this
If you want to clear all the entries that show up from past searches, web entries etc.

1. Start IE
2. Go to Tools / Internet Options / Content / AutoComplete
3. Click on the Clear Forms button
4. If you want to disable this in the future, uncheck any of the boxes that apply
Hope this helps

Try this..
Right click on your IE icon
Click on internet properties
Click on content
Click on auto complete
You can change it from there...:) :)
