This warning message keep appearing on just one specific web page (honest johns car forums).

Internet Explorer has encounted a problem with an add on and needs to close.
"file flash ocx"
"description Macromedia flash player 7.0 r19"

The consequence is I can not open the web page unless I use the option that is provided with the warning to disable Macromedia Flash player.

Could someone explain why this happens and why on one specific page.

Thanks

I just tried it ~ I assume you mean http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/index.htm ~ and there was a pop-up blocked, but the page opened ok.

Does the page open behind the "warning message" pop-up? Have you tried just closing the pop-up?

Do you have any pop-up blockers?

Sounds like there is a problem with the Flash 7 install on your PC. I'd try to uninstall it and reinstall from the Flash webpage. It's probably using part of Flash that is damaged, for this site that isn't used on any other site that you visit.

The web page opens up ok then a couple of seconds later the warning message appears, when I delete the warning message the web page is also deleted. Last night the web page opened up OK without the warning. Early this morning the warning was back. I have just tried it again and now it is OK. Dont worry about it I was just curious why the warning appeared only on this one site.

Thanks
