Hi, I am helping my mum and dad move house, called round a few solicitors today for quotes for buying and selling and all came up pretty similar 1150-1250 but my mum called one who advertises in the property section of the Telegraph called Easons, no address just an 0845 number, they have quoted £570 all in for buying and selling, I know it can't be right. Has anyone had any experience using them?
Thanks

ive not used them but im using coates solicitors and they were nearly half the price of what everyone else was charging. you could give them a call see how they compare to price. i know people who have used coates and have no complaints.

thanks

i'm using taylors...nothing good or bad to report...they we're the cheapest i found in the yellow pages, as were a company called best solicitors...good luck. things is i'd want to work with a local company...easier to go in and complain...should the need arise.

Thanks, I'll give them both a call tomorrow, I tried Taylors today but the receptionist said that they were merging with another company today and no one was available to give me a quote. I moved 5 years ago and the cost was about £550, I must say I am surprised at how much the cost has gone up.
