I've found it to be very buggy and some parts of it are very annoying. I've gone back to using an older version 1.5 I think with updated filters.

Stuff like ******* and some of the google things, I've messed around with things so much I'm not sure what i have got and what i have not.
When i installed the new version it wrote over everything on the old version so all my settings have gone to cock.

Using it now, its faster and more customisable than IE7 but I also like parts of IE7 too!

Swings and roundabouts :)

Been using it since release . But i couldn't get used to the little X on each tab . But i found a work around to put it back on the right hand side of the screen , same as 1.5

What is the work around? That is the one thing that annoys me about it.

For those who are having stability problems, the chances are that the problems are caused by extensions.

Can we use the themes from previous versions?

The spell-checker - where is it? Either it isn't activated on my PC or I'm missing something...

I am having problems playing video`s from YouTube on F2

It comes up with this error:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.

I installed the latest flash player and Javascript isnt turned off, unless I need to look elsewhere.

Tools --> Options --> contents --> the enabel javascript has a X in it

Help.

Thanks mate - doesn't seem to be the one, though. FF2's spell-checker is built-in apparently.

I don't think so. The maintainer will probably have to release a new package.

You will need to install the dictionary.

The following is true for linux, and I guess for windows too:

The flash player can be stored in several places. I bet you've got the old one in one place and the new one in another. There is one "plugins" directory which applies across the system and another which is specific to a certain user. Find the "plugins" directories on your system and scour for flash files.

And don't forget you need to restart firefox for the changes to take effect.

Ah OK. Thanks Richard.
