On abbeydale road where theres traffic lights just outside vicky wines and the turning onto the bottom of Woodseats road, there appears to be a big silver pole about the size of a lampost, with a funny thing on it pointing at the ground.

Has anyone noticed this or know what it is?

yeah thats what we thought. But if it was a phone mast Im sure we would have heard something about it as we live just around the corner.

It could be a camera but it looks unlike any Ive ever seen before....hmmm.

I think it's cctv.

There's a couple along Chesterfield Road in Woodseats with WCCTV written on the box and you can sometimes see the light catch the camera lens when it's moving around.

I had a look last night ..... it is definately cctv!! i live near there n i ad to go n ave a look cos i hadn't even seen it!! but defo cctv

I live in the area and hadn't noticed it at all, probably spending to much time looking in the gutter for money. I couldn't care less how many camera's are peering at me if I'm not doing anything wrong I've got nothing to worry about.

There are mobile masts all over the place. They can be disguised as statues, road signs you name it!!! They are everywhere and you will have no idea they are there. they dont need to have planning. I saw a tv program on it once and i was amazed...they detected them using some sort of transmitter.

Don't worry, a silver foil hat will protect you from their death rays.
