Anyone interested in power boat racing. Log onto the web cam on top of the hotel where I work.
Power Boat Racing (http://www.bamabeachcams.com/LiveCams/IslandHouseCam.htm)
The first race starts at 12.00 noon, which is 6.00pm your time. Then again at 2.00pm
I work at the Island House Hotel on Orange Beach, Alabama. We are hosting "Thunder on the Gulf" which is the American Power Boat Association. Most of the teams are staying at the hotel and the police and fire department have camped out on the roof. Just now I access the webcam and the beach and pool deck are getting busy. You have to click on the button to control the camera. If the site is busy you may have to wait to gain control, but then you have 1 minute to move it around. Hopefully you can work it and see the race. We did have a lot of complaints that perverts were scoping out bikinis in the pool. Oh well.
There's only an hour to go and sorry I didn't tell you sooner. Just thought about it and it's certainly different. The beach is hot and sunny too. No hurricanes here thank god.
