Hi there,

I've used my Outpost Pro for a full year after purchasing a copy. It ran out 30 days ago exactly which is what brings me here today. As I am rather pennyless at the mo' I resorted to just using their trial version for a bit. That has now ran out, today. I've just attempted to reinstall it but discovered that I cannot any longer use the Outpost trial version. I've figured this is probably due to some registry key which blocks users running a second copy of Outpost trial version; rational deduction highlights this may be a hidden time-stamp entry.

You've probably already worked it out what I am going to ask but does anyone know how to further use the trial version as understandably I don't want to surf the net naked?

(In normal circumstances I would just purchase another copy).

Comodo is my choice of the moment, free and the only firewall I could get my picky bank software to run with.

Rather than faff about trying to do something that isn't entirely legal, have a look at the list of free security software in the link in my siggie, and try one of those.

My preference is Zone Alarm, but there are several others, and they've all been tried and tested by SF users.

Ann we both link to the same software in our sigs, but mine shows as a URL how do you do it so its like yours (its getting late my brain has gone)
